Oh my god all Ollivander's scenes are satisfying for me, the way he grabs the wands and treat them and decsribes them. 4:03 pretty sure that aint ron 😂.

 

”The grass is more important than the camera.” Yes, the grass here is made out of grass. Grass is more important than camera AND THATS ON PERIODT DAN.

 

Dudley: Daddy's Gone Mad Hasn't he? Me: He already is mad. I love how Dursley just acts tough in front of everyone but the look on his face is of a scaredy-cat xD. The troll at 1:15 is me in the morning. 5:30 Like in the movie, he hasn't got any respect for Ron 😂. The way Harry said checkmate was so boss. Its ironic that emma admitted from ages 10-12 she had a crush on tom so around this time lol. What Harry should've done was put the first Hogwarts letter in his pocket and then read it in the cupboard. I had read J. K. Rowling's first Harry Potter book before I saw its cinematic adaptation (it happened the other way round in the case of the remaining instalments) and I was very pleased with the movie. I still am. Chris Columbus was criticised for being too slavishly faithful to the book but in my view that was just the right approach. The movie presented Harry Potter's world exactly the way I had envisioned it. The cast was perfect, the tone was perfect, the visuals were perfect. Granted, the book is richer and funnier (Rowling has a very British, wicked sense of humour) but it is ultimately a children's book with a universal message about the value of love, friendship and courage, so, in my opinion, veering towards a darker, more grotesque feel would have been a mistake.
Having seen the whole story, Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone remains one of my favourites from the saga (for me, the top spot goes to the second one, The Chamber of Secrets. Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are especially adorable in this one, the former actually having his most heroic moment here with the wizard's chess.
Great entertainment for kids and the young at heart, endlessly rewatchable true movie magic that has a well-earned place among the greatest modern fairy-tales, that is, George Lucas's Star Wars (episodes I-VI) and Tolkien's/Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit.

Too bad they never show the full board from a good angle. These actors are way different than I imagined them. 1:41 Mental that one, I'm telling you. Hey, don't be calling your future wife mental. Now I want a behind scenes of the behind scenes. 2:59 Mcgonagall's expression😆. I feel like Harry liked Hermione In the first year but ended up with Ginny. Hagrid😡 parents🥵 cousin😥 harry🙁. In our world this is called “billionaires chess.”. Dumbledore is so old at the moment. Yours? Whod be writing to you? 0:44 when I was very young, I thought the Hogwarts symbol looked like squidward.
